Alzheimer’s and Dementia Awareness Event at Inner Space Wembley

Purpose:  

Bridging the generational gap by raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and Dementia, fostering empathy and understanding of the unique needs of older adults.

Key Highlights:

1. Awareness Session by Swan Care:  

   - Shared crucial facts and figures from Alzheimer’s Society research.

   - Emphasised understanding the needs of older adults affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

2. Presentation by Dr. Arti Sharma (NIHR Research Team):  

   - Highlighted the benefits of research in tackling Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

   - Emphasised the critical role of research in improving care approaches and outcomes.

3. Dedication of the Swans:  

   - Recognised the commitment of Swan Care's team in providing holistic support and spiritual healing.

   - Highlighted the recent Social Care Hero Award received by Swan Care's team leader.

4. Support and Collaboration:  

   - Acknowledged the invaluable support from Inner Space Wembley and Brahma Kumaris in empowering both younger and older generations. ---
